Mr. Smith's goal is to find the truth and provide his clients with accurate results they can rely on.

Frank Smith is a highly experienced and respected Forensic Polygraph Examiner.

 

Mr. Smith has served more than thirty years with the Butler County Sheriff's Office. He has served as Deputy Sheriff, Traffic Investigator, Criminal Investigator, and Commander of the Cold Case Homicide Unit.

 

Following his training at Argenbright International Polygraph School in Atlanta, GA, he became the first Polygraph Examiner for the Butler County Sheriff's Office. He has conducted over two thousand examinations during his career.

 

All types of examinations are available, including but not limited to, theft, assault, drug and/or alcohol abuse offenses, child abuse, murder, arson, rape, vandalism, domestic violence, infidelity (including signs of a cheating spouses or significant other), white collar crimes, gambling, sexual misconduct, insurance fraud, as well as other legal and crime related issues.

 

Examinations can be conducted in the privacy of your office, which creates a friendly, less intimidating environment. Examinations can also be conducted at our downtown Hamilton, Ohio office. Off-site examinations are also offered including detentions facilities.

 

Mr. Smith is also available for independent assessments of polygraph examinations administered by other polygraphists. This service is to ensure that polygraph examinations are prepared, conducted, and documented according to professional standards.

 

Ohio Polygraph & Associates offers private examiners, who are not members of any government or police agency, so there is no conflict of interests. We also offer sworn law enforcement examiners, who are considered experts in interviewing to any law enforcement agency that requests us. All examiners follow federally approved standards and guidelines. The latest technology and state-of-the-art Axciton computerized polygraph is used for all examinations, which can include sound and video. After charts are read, all examinations are validated a second and third time by using Objective and Probabilities scoring, creating even greater accuracy.

 

As a Forensic Law Enforcement Polygraph Examiner, Mr. Smith participates in continuing polygraph education seminars, as well as professional association activities. He is an active member of the American Polygraph Association, American Association of Police Polygraphists, National Polygraph Association, and the Ohio Association of Polygraph Examiners.
